Iowa radio host Steve Deace posted a message to his Facebook page on Monday, alleging that Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain had made remarks to his female staffers that were at best “professionally awkward if not inappropriate over the last several months.”
One of those comments has now come to light. During an October 3rd appearance on Deace’s show, Cain asked a female staffer: “Darling, do you mind doctoring my tea for me?”
Deace told The Des Moines Register that he believes Cain was talking about adding honey and lemon, but the moment was still awkward.
