Following his shocking Straw Poll victory in Florida this weekend, it appears that GOP candidate and pizza magnate Herman Cain has been deemed popular enough to break bread with developer and persistent presidential flirt Donald Trump.
A source close to Trump told Politico that the two have arranged to meet on October 3rd. The developer has already met with Rick Perry, and is scheduled to meet with Mitt Romney today.
There has been no word yet as to where the two men will eat. Perhaps Cain will bring some of his own Godfather’s pizza to share. Trump was roundly criticized a few months ago for taking Sarah Palin for pizza at the Famous Famiglia chain.
