Congress Holds Moment Of Silence For Fort Hood Victims

The House of Representatives holds a moment of silence for the Fort Hood shooting victims.

Both the House and the Senate have held moments of silence for the victims of the shootings in Fort Hood and their families.

Twelve people, including one gunman, were killed and 31 wounded in shootings this afternoon. The gunman was a soldier, and two other soldiers have been held as suspects.

President Obama expressed his condolences and called the shootings “a horrific outburst of violence.”
