The Gulf Coast oil spill will undoubtedly become the worst in American history, a White House official said this morning.
Carol Browner, assistant to the president for energy and climate change, said on Good Morning America that the administration is “doing everything we can” to work with BP to stop the leak.
But when asked if there was “any doubt in your mind this is gonna be the worst oil spill in American history?” Browner said: “I don’t think there’s any doubt, unfortunately.”
