Stephen Colbert said last night that the death of Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) is “a sobering reminder of our own mortality.” He continued that Byrd was “snatched away from us in the blink of an eon,” adding “I’m 46. Senator Byrd was 92. The difference is a mere my entire life.”
