You wouldn’t expect this to take long — and it didn’t. Colorado Republican Jane Norton has a new ad seizing on her Senate primary opponent Ken Buck’s comment that people should vote for him “because he does not wear high heels.”
Buck’s comment, an apparent response to a Norton ad which asks Buck to “be man enough” to run his own attack ads, was made at an event on July 17.
The ad plays the killer quote not once, but twice. “Now Ken Buck wants to go to Washington?” A female narrator says at the end. “He’d fit right in.” Ouch.
The primary is August 10.
