Dem Rep. Lynn Woolsey (CA) hinted yesterday that she might not run for an 11th term in 2012.
Guy Kovner of the Press Democrat in Santa Rosa, California reported yesterday:
Woolsey, 73, said she was talking about her future now to give those vying to succeed her — in what would likely be a crowded and expensive race — a chance to make their names known to voters.
Her office told TPM today that Woolsey “hasn’t made up her mind whether she’s going to run for reelection in 2012,” and “that she is going to reach that decision by June.”
Woolsey has been in Congress for 18 years.
