While CNN and MSNBC were knee-deep in Republican primary coverage Tuesday night, Fox News had a bigger story to cover: President Obama’s sinking poll numbers.
“Fox News, the Republican party’s their team,” Jon Stewart said Wednesday. “I’d imagine it’s difficult for them watching their own party tear itself to pieces.” But they did their best, by ignoring the election for the early part of the night.
The mashed-up Fox News clips might not mean much to the average Daily Show viewer. So Stewart translated it — by showing a bunch of wailing babies.
But even Fox News isn’t Stewart’s favorite target. He saved the best for CNN.
