The Washington Post reported this morning that President Trump soured on Ukraine in recent months thanks to interventions from Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian leader Viktor Orban.

Beyond the specifics of the Ukraine scandal, the encounters point toward something revealing about Trump’s encounters with foreign leaders and the sometimes-obscure issues they bring to the table.
