President Donald Trump has been “hopping mad” about former aide Cliff Sims’ White House exposé, “Team of Vipers,” and has taken to dismissing his former special assistant and White House messaging chief.

According to a Monday Politico report, Trump keeps calling Sims a “videographer,” a demotion Trump came up with because Sims helped with the weekly video and radio address.

“Who is this guy? Why is he writing this book? He wasn’t even in meetings,” Trump has reportedly said.

The usually factious White House has responded by banding together, some cheering on Trump’s instinct to humiliate the former aide.

When Sims left the White House last year, he reportedly tried to get a gig in Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s office, but was thwarted by then-White House Chief of Staff John Kelly.
