Update: Sen. Amy Klobuchar was added to William Barr’s schedule for Thursday afternoon after she posted tweets about being denied a meeting.

Original Story:

William Barr, the former attorney general President Trump nominated to replace the ousted Jeff Sessions, refused to meet with Democratic senators on the Judiciary Committee, Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) because of the “shutdown.”

However the shutdown didn’t stop Barr from meeting with several Republican senators this week, including Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Chuck Grassley (R-IA).
