Symone Sanders, Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-VT) press secretary in 2016, has signed on to work on former Vice President Joe Biden’s campaign.

According to the Daily Beast, Sanders has recently come down on the former vice president for his jokes about touching women, but has said he’d be “formidable” in the election.

Sanders, 29, will also add diversity and youth to Biden’s team. She’s currently a political commentator for CNN.

The former vice president announced his candidacy officially Thursday morning with a campaign video.

  4. Bernie was always damaged goods. His actions (and those of his followers) at the 2016 Dem Convention were absolutely inexcusable. I know what I saw and heard.

    Those actions had not been paid for.

    And he had the nerve to resurface and divide in 2019
