President Obama will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Washington Nationals’ opening game against the Philadelphia Phillies on April 5.

The Nationals say the pitch will mark the 100th anniversary of presidential pitches for the team — William Howard Taft threw the first one on April 14, 1910.
