Rev. Ted Haggard, a prominent evangelical who had a sexual relationship with a gay former male escort, will make a “big announcement” Wednesday about his career path.
Haggard, the founder and former leader of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs, is known for his involvement in national politics, and for admitting to a homosexual affair in 2006.
Tomorrow at 12:30 EST, he will make an announcement about the next step in his career from his home in Colorado Springs. His family will reportedly attend the press conference as well.
Late Update: Haggard’s wife Gayle will appear this week on Joni Lamb’s show, a half-hour talk show that describes itself as “focusing on the importance and relevance of the Gospel in today’s society.”
Gayle Haggard’s appearances are scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday.
