Vice President Mike Pence is proud of the President for sticking it out during his governmental shutdown, he told CBS News’ Jeff Glor on Wednesday, even though Trump eventually caved on the wall and temporarily reopened the government for three weeks.
“I never think it’s a mistake to stand up for what you believe in,” he said when asked if he thought the shutdown was a mistake. “And I think what the American people admire most about this President is he says what he means and he means what he says in a very real sense.”

Lies.
Hitler stood up for what he believed in, too.
It’s a mistake to believe 99% of what Mike Pence believes.
Never a mistake to use people as pawns and hurt hundreds of thousands of families for no good reason.
So, is Pence saying that all the suffering of the federal workers and their families was worth it so that Trump “could stand up for what he believes in”? Did the interviewer ask that question?
