In what might be seen as a signal that he is indeed running for president in 2012, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (R) has made a deal with Tyndale House to publish his new memoir in 2011.

In a release, Tyndale House says the book will “reflect on his life, his remarkable career, and his vision for America.”

It continues that “Pawlenty has been gaining national recognition for his strong leadership and his purposeful commitment to service, fiscal restraint, and personal integrity.”

According to the release, “multiple publishers were interested in acquiring Governor Pawlenty’s book because it’s a great American success story of a leader who rose from the gritty streets of South Saint Paul to the highest office in his home state.”

In the book, Pawlenty will simultaneously “share his unique perspective on our times” and take “readers back to values solidified during the Reagan-era foundation of his career in public service.”
