President Barack Obama will begin his midterm campaign schedule this weekend, starting by boosting Democratic House candidates in California, then traveling next week to Cleveland to stump with gubernatorial nominee Richard Cordray, according to a Wednesday New York Times report.

In California, the candidates are expected to include all seven who are running in districts currently run by Republicans, but that Hillary Clinton won in 2016.

This month, Obama will reportedly also campaign in Pennsylvania and Illinois, and will hold a fundraising dinner in New York City for the National Democratic Redistricting Committee.

  1. Please Mr Obama
    Go to Texas
Schedule a rally with Beto O’Rourke opposite the Douchebags Ball that Trump is planning for Ted Cruz
We’ll see who has a bigglier crowd.

  2. Trump: Not worried. I will bring in Putin.

  3. Please go to Bakersfield, Obama. While McCarthy may be nearly impossible to unseat, Valadao remains in place only because of extreme underperformance in voting by the Latino community, which makes up 71% of the CA-21 constituency. Voter turnout is a third to half of what you see in a typical East Coast congressional race.

I’d like to see him in Texas filling a bigger stadium for O’Rourke on the same day as Trump pukes out bile for Cruz.

  5. Love the guy. But I feel he will be an energy suck. He never had coat tails.

I hope Obama is a positive, but I like the energy from the far left, I think that is where the party needs to lean on, and Obama’s isn’t that kind of troubadour . If the middle decides to support Trumpism because of it, at least we know who we are then.

Time for Pelosi to go as welll. The Democrats need to go where the kids are taking them, that is the real lesson the Democrats should have learned in 1968.
