President Obama is scheduled to make several public appearances and speeches today.
First, at 10:40 a.m., he’s scheduled to host a roundtable discussion with GM workers at a plant in Warren, OH. Afterward he’ll deliver remarks on the economy to the plant’s workers.
At 1:40 p.m., the President is scheduled to deliver remarks at an AFL-CIO convention in Pittsburgh.
He’ll then fly to Philadelphia, where he’s scheduled to speak at a fundraising event for Republican-turned-Democrat Arlen Specter, who faces a tough Senate re-election race next year.
