President Obama sat down with Fox News’ Bret Baier today for an interview from the White House. And things got a little heated during the interview when Baier repeatedly interrupted a visibly frustrated Obama.

Baier asked about the House Democrats’ plan to potentially vote on the Senate health care bill and the reconciliation fixes in one fell swoop:

“Whatever they end up voting on,” Obama responded, “it is going to be a vote for or against my health care proposal. And that’s what matters.”

Baier pressed him about how some are concerned about the “ugly process” of getting health care passed.

Obama responded: “There are a lot more people who are concerned about the fact that they may be losing their house or going bankrupt because of health care.”

He continued: “The reason that I think this conversation ends up being a little frustrating is because the focus entirely is on Washington process.”

“It was ugly when Republicans were in charge, it was ugly when Democrats in charge,” Obama said.

At the end of the sometimes-contentious interview, Baier apologized for his interrupting, but added that Fox News was just “trying to get the most for our buck here.”
