Bill O’Reilly and Jon Stewart concluded their head-to-head on The O’Reilly Factor last night, this time mostly talking foreign policy and O’Reilly’s hopes for Stewart to join his presidential ticket.

O’Reilly began by telling Stewart that he hopes to run for president. Stewart responded: “I think that’s a really bad idea.”

O’Reilly countered that he’d like Stewart to be his vice president. “I think that’s a really bad idea too,” the comedian countered.

“I have pictures of me from college that I’ve got in a shoe box that preclude me from working at the post office,” he continued.

O’Reilly also asked why Stewart isn’t more concerned about Iran’s nuclear aspirations. Stewart replied that Iran has “a self-preservationist streak” that he believes would preclude their setting off a bomb.

They also talked about Sarah Palin, and Stewart said he has a problem with her talk about “real America.” He continued: “I don’t think where you live is the factor in deciding who you are.”
