NBC has agreed to give 12 minutes of air time to a handful of Republican presidential candidates who filed for equal time after Donald Trump, who is also seeking the GOP nomination, hosted “Saturday Night Live” earlier this month, Variety reported.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore, and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) will be granted 12 minutes of airtime during primetime on NBC networks in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina on Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.
They will also get time during “SNL” on Nov. 28, according to the report.
Trump was on NBC for 12 minutes and five seconds when he hosted the late night comedy show, according to Variety.
The network, according to the publication, is still discussing possibilities with former New York Gov. George Pataki (R).
Oh man this is gonna be the worst episode ever
So here’s my question… the race for the Republican nomination is essentially a private contest, run for the Republican Party by the Republican Party. It doesn’t really have any official capacity as an election, so does the law even apply?
It’s like SNL has given up and is trying to suck.
Give them all equal time, but make it so that SNL gets to write their comedy sketch.
Good Republican cloth coats on back order…
