Fox Analyst: Dems Want Northam Out So They Can ‘Tarnish Donald Trump As A Racist’

Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano, who is occasionally mildly critical of President Trump, chastised Democrats on Tuesday for their treatment of one of their own, Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam.

Napolitano suggested that the only reason Democrats are calling for Northam to resign — after photos surfaced of him wearing blackface in college — is so they can continue “to tarnish Donald Trump as a racist.”

“Why do they want him out? They want to be able to tarnish Donald Trump as a racist. Because of the way the comments he made after the Charlottesville murder and racial clash took place. They will lose standing to do that if the governor of Virginia still has this.”

High level Democrats across the country have called on Northam to resign over the photo and the governor’s botched handling of the scandal, but Northam remains undecided. He told Cabinet members during a private evening Monday that he was concerned that if he resigned, he’d be branded a “racist for life.”

Er…no. We have a dump trunk full of reasons to state Trump is a racist from his own words.

And secondly, not everything is about Trump. I know, as cultists, it’s hard to get your mind around, but it’s true.

More actually. Fred Trump was a real piece of work as well. His grandfather, Friedrich, was pretty slimy at well.

  5. “Democrats are only calling Northam out for past racist behavior, so we can’t accuse them of hypocrisy when they call out Trump’s past racist behavior. Waaaah”

So to be clear Fox is now attacking Democrats for trying to be consistent in holding politicians of their own party to the same standard they hold Republican politicians.
