It is hardly surprising news when conservative radio host and provocateur Rush Limbaugh attacks President Obama. But on his radio show today, Limbaugh launched one of his more over-the-top tirades yet against Obama.
Reporting on a Reuters story about Iran’s recent withdrawal from an international treaty, Limbaugh faulted weak-kneed U.S. leadership.
Well, of course, Iran sees little point in staying in the non-proliferation treaty, because the United State of America is now run by a wimpy little man-child who has no spine.
Limbaugh then jumped swiftly over to a report on Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and his attempts to nationalize the country’s banks. Limbaugh drew parallels between these efforts and the policy decisions of Obama, neglecting to mention that the first U.S. bank bailouts were orchestrated under the Bush administration.
