Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) said today that he will vote for the House’s reconciliation fixes to the Senate health care bill.

On the Senate floor today, Lieberman said: “In the end, I weigh the pluses and minuses,” and that he’s “decided to vote for this health care reform package.”

Lieberman was one of the Senators who showed the most resistance to passing the health care bill in the Senate, and even said that he would filibuster a bill with a public option.

For now, at least, his days of making things difficult for the Dems seem to be over:

“The reconciliation bill that is before us preserves most but not all the Senate health care reform we adopted and I voted for in December,” he said. It “achieves all that progress without a government takeover of health care or health insurance.”
