Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), who last week jokingly dismissed rumors that she was on the Supreme Court short list, today more seriously shot down the rumors.
Speaking to reporters today, Klobuchar noted that the Minnesota delegation is one of the youngest in the country.
“The more stability we can have the better and I’m not going to abandon our state at this time,” she said.
Speculation as to who President Obama may nominate to replace Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens has been running rampant since, and even before, Stevens announced his retirement last week.
