Jon Stewart Channels Glenn Beck In Nearly Full-Show, Apocalyptic Homage (VIDEO)

Jon Stewart took it upon himself Thursday night to get to the bottom of whatever ludicrous conspiracy had forced Glenn Beck off the air. And in doing so, he discovered that President Obama is not Kenyan, but is in fact the ancient Mesoamerican god Quetzalcoatl, who is prophesied to destroy the world in 2012.

Donning glasses and mimicking Beck’s mannerisms, Stewart bounced around his set wildly, in front of several blackboards covered with diagrams that ostensibly showed the links between such entities as George Soros and Burger King.

So, what did force Beck off the air? In announcing his departure, Beck said he had never intended to host the show forever, and likened himself to Paul Revere sounding the alarm during the American Revolution.

“The only real difference between Glenn and Paul Revere, is that when Paul Revere told you the British were coming, the British were in fact coming,” Stewart said.

But that explanation wasn’t good enough for Stewart, who then asked if Beck was being pulled off the air because of his falling ratings.

“Do we really wanna live in an America where what we watch is determined by a shadowy mix and match collective of so-called Nielsen families?” Stewart asked. “You know who else had a family that anyone could join? Charles Manson.”

Stewart worked deeper and deeper into his theory, concluding that Beck was leaving at the end of 2011 since 2012 is the year that, according to the Mayan calendar, the world will end. But it didn’t end there. Needing to pin down a cause for the world’s demise, Stewart found one in President Obama, who conveniently happens to have a presidential campaign in 2012.

“The reason Barack Obama has been reluctant to proffer his long form birth certificate is that the information it reveals is not that he is Kenyan or Muslim,”Stewart said. “It is that he is in fact, Barack Obamayan.”
