Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani officially denied the Cohen-Trump bombshell report Friday afternoon and attacked the credibility of the President’s former lawyer, despite the fact that the BuzzFeed News report cites two federal investigators—and not Cohen—as the sources.

“Any suggestion from any source that the President counseled Michael Cohen to lie is categorically false,” Giuliani said in a statement, according to CNN. “Michael Cohen is a convicted criminal and a liar. To quote the prosecutors, he has traded on ‘a pattern of lies and dishonesty over an extended period of time,’ and for that ‘he is going to pay a very, very serious price.’ Today’s claims are just more made-up lies born of Michael Cohen’s malice and desperation, in an effort to reduce his sentence.”

This is the first outright denial from the President’s allies who have mostly stuck to attacking the integrity of BuzzFeed as a news outlet.

  1. Really Rudy, this Trump defending thing is going to kill you. At your age the question you should be asking is “Should I be a SOB every minute of my whole life”. There are other pleasures in this life other than playing for power…

  2. So who lies more, Giuliani or Trump? Also too, attorneys always represent their client’s interest regardless of the facts. Why does a statement from Giuliani have any credibility at all?

  3. You’d think this whole crew is due for a come to Jesus moment, but I don’t think Jesus wants them anywhere close enough to experience it.

  4. Why does a statement from Giuliani have any credibility at all?
