A funeral service for Vice President Joe Biden’s mother will take place this morning at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Wilmington, Delaware.
Catherine Eugenia “Jean” Finnegan Biden passed away Friday at the age of 92. Then-Sen. Joe Biden spoke of his mother’s influence often during the 2008 campaign.
Yesterday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs announced the president and first lady planned to attend the funeral.
