President Obama has left a golf course in Hawaii earlier than scheduled because of a “personal matter,” according to several reports. Details are still sketchy, but according to the Associated Press, an ambulance also rushed to the First Family’s compound in Honolulu.

The Washington Post reports that “the president returned in a very high-speed and dramatic motorcade to his vacation home, where an ambulance responded with flashing lights.”

According to Ed Henry of CNN, the son of Obama’s golfing buddy cut his chin on a surfboard and needed stitches.

Late Update: NBC’s Chuck Todd tweeted that Obama has already returned to the golf course, and “it appears things are going to be OK.”
