Abby Huntsman, a former Fox News host, said Monday that if the recent New Yorker report on Fox News’ influence in the White House and decision to nix a story about the Stormy Daniels hush payments is true, the network has a “problem on its hands.”
“If this story is true–and there are many reasons to believe it is, based off the piece–that is a real, real problem for Fox and it’s a problem for the journalists that work there that want to break these stories. That’s why they’re there, to do their job,” former Fox co-host Abby Huntsman said on “The View,” where she works now. “And that’s the biggest story if it comes out to be true, they’ve got a problem on their hands.”
A bombshell new story by the New Yorker’s Jane Mayor alleges that a Fox News reporter had the story on the hush payments before the 2016 election, but the piece was killed because Rupert Murdoch was keen on President Trump winning the election. Fox News has denied killing the story to help Trump.

If you worked there and were not aware this kind of thing was going on you weren’t paying attention. This is bread and butter for FuxSnooz.

I’d ummm really like some info on what exactly the “problem on their hands” is? I can’t imagine too many of the people who work there are going, “OH NOES! We’re a propaganda machine!” I have a hard time seeing Fox “News” lose press credentials with so much Repubican love, and does anyone expect Ted Cruz or Kasich or anyone else in the 2016 Clown Car to push back on this?
I think its time for some congressional hearings on press freedom and press independance. Make everyone at FOX come in and talk under oath…
Wait, wait, Fox News has journalists working for it? That’s the biggest surprise! (Sorry Shep, I love you but couldn’t resist)
