The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raked in $11.6 million this February, smashing the record from every previous February, even ones during election years.

According to a Wednesday Politico report, much of it came from the grassroots network and online donations.

The war chest will help Democrats defend their House majority in 2020 and pour resources into North Carolina’s 9th District where a re-do election has been called after a campaign operative working for Republican Mark Harris allegedly tainted the election with absentee ballot fraud.
