Stephen Colbert was distraught Monday night after learning that Donald Trump would not be running for President.
Colbert opened his show by saying he wasn’t so bummed to learn that Mike Huckabee had announced over the weekend that he would not seek the presidency.
“Saturday marked the end of an era,” Colbert said. “The era of caring who Mike Huckabee is.”
But with Trump also dropping out, Colbert worried that a crucial voice had been lost from the national debate.
“What!?” Colbert said. “Who’s gonna tell OPEC the fun is over?”
“Who’s gonna tell China to go fuck themselves?” he added.
