Stephen Colbert brandished a broadsword last night and, as lightning flared around him, declared that he was claiming former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann’s powers as his own.
“In punditry, as in The Highlander, there can be only one,” Colbert shouted. “Keith Olbermann, your audience and your vocabulary are mine!”

Yet when Colbert, now wearing a gray wig and Olbermann’s signature glasses, tried out his new powers, he quickly grew sick of them.
“I cant do it! My body is rejecting Keith like a pompous kidney,” Colbert said.
Then, amidst more lightning and thunder, he cast Olbermann’s powers into the purgatory of his coffee cup.
