Former Vice President Joe Biden said he’s confident that the Democratic field will winnow next year, dismissing concerns of a long and damaging primary season.

According to Politico, while he spoke at a restaurant in Los Angeles, he also complimented Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as “qualified.”

“This idea that … we have a lot of people who aren’t qualified or aren’t electable, come on, give me a break,” he said.
