In an interview on Good Morning America, Vice President Biden’s son, Beau Biden, said he is “absolutely” mulling a run for his father’s old Senate seat.
“Am I considering it? Absolutely,” he said. “But I’ll be making the decision in due course.”
Beau Biden, who just returned from Iraq and has resumed his role as Delaware’s attorney general, said he wants to focus on his family and his job for now.
The seat, currently held by Sen. Ted Kaufman, is up for election in 2010. Rep. Mike Castle (R-DE) has announced he’s running for the seat.
