Editor & Publisher announced yesterday that it has resumed publication following its sale to a California-based publisher.
On Thursday, Duncan McIntosh Co. Inc., a publisher based in Irvine, CA, bought the 126-year old Editor & Publisher. Duncan McIntosh also known for publishes Boating World magazine and Fish Rap News.
The move came two weeks after E&P, known for its independent reporting on the newspaper business, closed its print and online operations.
Though E&P will continue on, it is without editor Greg Mitchell, who was with the publication for eight years. Mitchell was ousted following the sale, along with senior editor Joe “Scoop” Strupp, who was with E&P for 12 years.
