A yoga studio in Arlington, Va. apologized on Thursday for a Sept. 11 “Patriot Day” discount.
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Bikram Yoga offered a “9+11 = 20%” discount. The studio then issued multiple apologies, mixed in with a tweet on “chatter” about another potential terrorist attack on Thursday.

Bikram Yoga also deleted the tweets defending the sale and about “chatter,” but continued to apologize for the “badly worded” promotion on Twitter and Facebook.
The individual who wrote the Tweet about the sale identified himself as Frank and said that he wrote it late at night.
So, I’ve made a horrible mistake that was unintended by sending a badly worded promotion today, so again I apologize. – Frank

The intention of the sale was to honor the memory of the many members of our family, community and our nation that we lost.
