President Donald Trump mentioned an incident when a shooter entered the Trump National Doral Miami resort in late May during a speech to law enforcement officers, saying “can you believe this is happening to me?”

When you ask for violence, demand it even, it’s bound to splay in all directions. Violence isn’t careful or introspective or particularly thoughtful.
