The crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference brought back an old stand-by from President Donald Trump’s campaign during his speech Friday morning: chants of “lock her up!” at the mention of Hillary Clinton.
Trump brought up Clinton’s infamous “basket of deplorables” comment during the speech and the crowd began to boo and break out into the chant.
Trump frequently brings up the election, which ended 108 days ago, during his remarks as President. Despite talking up plans to investigate Clinton for her private email server should he become President, his aides have said he has no plans to do so.
