Undecided Alaskan voters will be able to read about Hillary Clinton and Jill Stein in an informational pamphlet sent to them over the weekend, but not Donald Trump.
Trump’s campaign didn’t send the necessary materials to Alaskan election officials before the August 30 deadline, according a report from The Hill. Gary Johnson’s campaign also failed to respond to Alaskan election officials in time.
The Hill reported that Josie Bahnke, Alaska’s director of elections, also reached out to the Republican National Committee, Paul Ryan, and the Alaska GOP, but no one responded in time to be included in the pamphlet.
Both Trump and Johnson are slated to appear on the ballot in the state on Election Day, however.
The presidential race has grown surprisingly close in Alaska, which hasn’t gone Democratic in a presidential race since Lyndon Johnson won there in 1964.
TPM’s PollTracker Average shows Trump leading Hillary Clinton 37 to 35.3 percent in the state:
If they need a voter guide to learn about Trump, they’re too clueless to be voting.
Twig, Bark, Beaver Dam and the rest of the Palin clan will push Donnie to victory.
Trump: Alaska is too damn far. I rather have Putin have it.
this is what he gets for making everyone sign a non-defamation/non-disclosure form
