‘Lyin’, Leakin’ Susan Rice’: Trump Aide, Don Jr. Unimpressed By Denials

President Donald Trump’s social media director refused to accept former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice’s Tuesday denial that she unmasked Trump transition staffers’ names in intelligence reports for political reasons.

Dan Scavino’s tweetstorm came as Rice was responding to reports that she requested the names of U.S. persons be unmasked in intelligence reports containing information on President Donald Trump and his staffers.

Experts say that it’s within Rice’s rights to request that names be unmasked where there’s some intelligence value, and Rice told MSNBC Tuesday that she had not asked that names be revealed “for any political purposes.” She also denied leaking information about Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser to Trump who resigned after misleading Vice President Mike Pence about his contact with Russian officials before Trump took office.

The President’s son Donald Trump, Jr. also dismissed Rice’s response to the reports as “#fakenews”:
