Paul Manafort, an aide to presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump, said Sunday that former Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was “jealous” of Trump’s success.
“I mean Governor Romney, uh, you know, is jealous of the fact that the first businessman to be nominated by the Republican Party with record numbers, uh, is Mr. Trump,” Manafort said on ABC News’ “This Week.”
Romney once railed against the prospect of Trump as the nominee, criticizing the real estate mogul’s business decisions and foreign policy. He has since quieted down his criticisms, but has vowed not to support Trump as the nominee.
“Romney had a chance to win it, he lost it,” Manafort said.
Which dictator is Manafort speaking for?
I have nothing good to say about romney, but trump and his campaign are nothing but sleaze.
Trump can’t help but lash out at anyone he feels has wronged or insulted him.
The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp “Why?” Replies the scorpion: “Its my nature …”
Romney is jealous of Trump’s stupidity. He never had a hope of matching it.
Manafort then added, “this is the best I can do – Hannibal Lecter ate my brain.”
Except Mitt has more money than we know…and Trump much less.
Plus just give Trump some time…I’m sure he’ll match Mitt in the general.
