A top administration official formally apologized Tuesday for HealthCare.gov’s troubled rollout and its impact on Americans shopping for health insurance.
“I want to apologize to you that the website has not worked as it should,” Marilyn Tavenner, administrator for the Centers on Medicare and Medicaid Services, said in front of the House Ways and Means Committee, directing her apology to frustrated consumers. “We are working around the clock to deliver the shopping experience you deserve.”
