South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott (R) will endorse Marco Rubio, according to Politico.

Politico cited three anonymous sources.

Scott’s endorsement would be a boost in South Carolina for Rubio who has struggled to break through in a crowded Republican field dominated by Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.

The South Carolina primary is scheduled for Feb. 20 and will be a key state for Rubio as he battles to stay a top the establishment heap after New Hampshire.

South Carolina’s senior Sen. Lindsey Graham (R) already endorsed Jeb Bush.
