A former top aide to Jeb Bush’s presidential campaign has joined a super PAC designed to torpedo Donald Trump’s bid for the White House, The New York Times reported Tuesday.
Tim Miller, the former top spokesman for the Bush campaign, joined the Our Principles PAC, the Times reported. The PAC, formed and largely bankrolled by the Ricketts family, also plans staff an “opposition research wing,” according to the report.
“A K.K.K. sympathizer who screwed over regular people to enrich himself isn’t going to win the White House,” Miller said in a statement. “Donald’s general election campaign will fail worse than Trump Mortgage and Trump Steaks did and Hillary Clinton will destroy him even if she is campaigning from jail. We will fight until the last delegate is counted to stop that from happening.”
