Senate Confirms Thomas Perez As Secretary Of Labor

The U.S. Senate on Thursday voted to confirm Thomas Perez as the new Secretary of Labor by a vote of 54-46. A long-standing Republican filibuster was broken a day earlier, by the thinnest possible margin of 60-40.
