Huffington Post reporter Ryan J. Reilly on Thursday morning posted photos of the St. Louis County police officer who he said arrested and assaulted him the evening before as he covered the violence in Ferguson, Mo.

Reilly, a former TPM reporter, was arrested at a local McDonald’s along with Washington Post reporter Wesley Lowery. Both were later released. Reilly has since tweeted his account of the incident and his treatment by the officer.
He’s about to walk through the door that, just a few minutes later, he would slam my head against on purpose.

This cop ignored over a dozen of my requests for his name or badge number.

After slamming my head on the door, he sarcastically apologized.

Every single officer we came into contact with ignored my repeated requests for a name or badge number of the officer who assaulted me.

I was also never informed of my Miranda Rights.

He also suggested he was wearing an audio recorder. I sure hope so.

This cop seemed to take pleasure in the way he treated me. Hope to prevent others from being subjected to his abuse.

Arab Spring. Ferguson Summer.
Nice work, Ryan. Its B.S. all the way around. A bunch of barely-trained yahoos with Rambo fetishes. Interesting how Constitiutional Rights go out the window when the police say so.
He also suggested he was wearing an audio recorder. I sure hope so.
Ooooohhh… Is that a lawsuit I smell?
Where is this guy?

I read ‘somewhere’ the orders the CountyLEOs were following:
"Arrest/detain anybody who
a) looks smarter than you
b) is black and scares you
c) appears to be recording your activity.
“Shoot them if they meet 2 of 3 aforementioned criteria.”
