Rand Paul might have been kept off the main debate stage Thursday night, but some of his supporters were in South Carolina in full force.

From the audience a group of Paul supporters shouted, “We want Rand! We want Rand!” The interruption came toward the end of the debate and only lasted moments.

With slumping poll numbers, Paul was not eligible for the primetime debate. He was invited to participate in the undercard debate but boycotted it.
