WASHINGTON — A parked limousine was set on fire during inauguration protests in downtown Washington, D.C. on Friday afternoon, sending thick plumes of smoke down 13 Street.

Confused demonstrators initially dispersed before returning to the site of the fire after the smoke cleared. Police officers made a human barricade keeping them from approaching the vehicle.

The limousine windows had been smashed out by protesters earlier in the afternoon, one of whom left a notecard reading “fuck trump” on the driver side mirror.

The fire occurred around the same time President Donald Trump and his family stood waving at well-wishers gathered in front of his Trump International Hotel along the inauguration parade route.

Well this helps (eye roll) In what ways might the left create Trump supporters. Oh I know vandalize and set stuff on fire.

Yes I know these were probably asshole anarchists, but we need to control our protest and stomp on these folks like the bugs they are.

I disagree. I suspect the rioters or would-be rioters don’t know what “anarchist” means and can’t exactly explain why they committed arson. People can sometimes riot when their home team wins the World Series. I do agree that their behavior is perfect for a ten-minute lead to every Fox News show today and tomorrow, and may be brought up 100 times on Fox in the next two months.

  4. If you want to protest, burn dumpsters…

  5. I’m not sure people who do that shit are left or right. I’m not sure its even ideological. They’re just miscreants without a real sense of purpose in their lives so they destroy shit “for the hell of it”. No one taught them how to channel that anger appropriately…ergo, the only philosophy they follow is “let’s fuck up some shit.”
