As evening fell, law enforcement once again fired flash grenades and tear-gas to disperse the protests gathered in the streets. On Monday Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon called in the National Guard, which held back throughout as Ferguson police clashed with protestors.

Four journalists were also arrested Monday night: a Getty Images photographer, a journalist for The Intercept and two German reporters.
